Client: Spinella & Associates, Attorneys at Law | www.spinella-law.com

The Challenge: This law firm was quite satisfied with the written content of its existing site. However, the amount of copy was extremely heavy and needed to be better organized. Spinella & Associates also wanted an improved look for the site without changing the conservative style appropriate for a respected law firm. The client requested a customized logo as part of that new look.

The iGRAFIX Solution: The first change you’ll notice when you visit the new site is that the home page can now be viewed all at once without having to scroll. The stark white page contained various, similarly-emphasized graphic elements which confused the eye. (“Where do I look first?”) Multiple lines of blue links competed for attention at the bottom of the page.

To each redesigned page, iGRAFIX added subtle color frames containing the custom logo and the firm’s contact information. This change alone added interest while maintaining a professional look. Navigation of the extensive copy was improved by introducing visitor-friendly popup subcategories to each button, resulting in less verbiage per page. A quick comparison of the new and old site maps gives an immediate impression of the dramatically improved architecture.

A note about the custom logo: Spinella & Associates were so pleased with the logo that iGRAFIX was commissioned to create a new stationery set, as well.
